Concave Lens is a negative (diverging) spherical lens with one concave surface and one flat (plane) surface.
These Lenses for diverging the collimated incident light, as in a Galilean type beam expander or telescope.
These Lenses form virtual images, which are seen through the lens. Often, these Lenses are used to expand light or to increase focal lengths in existing systems.
A unique characteristic of this lens is that it can balance the aberration caused due to the other lenses.
